News from the North.

Thanks to Antonis and Vasilis I am able to give you some news from the North and from the Spartakos. The game planned last week end did not take place due to the visiting team not showing up on the field. They seems to have a lack of players and they took the liberty to inform the spartakos team 1.5 hour before the game. When you know how awful is the organization in Greece… you have the right to be mad. The players have to trace the lines, put the goal post, do basically everything to prepare the pitch before playing. I never ever see such a thing… Spending hours under the sun is not the best preparation for a game. This is a believe also one reason our national team lost the game in Athens last year. Another clue of the federation dysfunctions? May be.
Bottom line, this game will not be rescheduled, and the bottom line, Trikala forfeit, Spartakos win 20-0!

It is Trikala’s fault (and every other team’s fault which is not showing for a game) for the situation. Let’s get serious and behave in a decent way. A notice 90 minutes before a game? It’s a mockery. Respect each other at least!
I hope Spartakos had at least a nice friendly game… Looking forward to playing you guys.

Goth thank you for your moral support. Instead of the game we had a pretty good training and after that we played a “family” sevens game.
I hope we have the chance, our clubs will meet this season and I am sure we will have a very good game, full of strength and passion.
    Your’s, Antonis.
